About this policy

Effective October 17, 2026. This policy explains how Valence Connected handles information through valenceconnected.com, its customer services, and its authorized Google business integrations. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions.

Information we handle

When you contact us, create an account, place an order, request installation, or send a message, we handle the information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, delivery or project address, order details, messages, and uploaded files. Account passwords are stored as password hashes rather than readable passwords.

We also process technical and security information needed to operate the site, such as browser or device information and request records. Our first-party activity measurement records public page visits, product views, cart additions, and checkout starts. Signed-in activity may be associated with your account. Payment details and private messages are excluded from that activity measurement.

How we use information

We use information to answer questions, prepare quotes, maintain accounts and carts, process and fulfill orders, arrange services, provide invoices and support, prevent abuse, and maintain and improve the website. We use public product information and business search reports to keep product listings accurate and understand how people discover our store. Providing an email for an order or support request does not by itself enroll you in marketing.

Payments and service providers

Square processes card payments and provides payment confirmations. We receive the order and payment-status information needed to complete the transaction; payment-card processing is handled by the payment provider.

We share information with providers that help deliver the requested service, including payment and invoice services, email and hosting providers, carriers, and suppliers fulfilling an order. For example, a shipping partner may receive the recipient name, delivery address, phone number, and ordered items. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect people, transactions, or our services. We do not sell personal information.

Google integrations: access, use, storage, and sharing

Valence Connected uses owner-authorized Google integrations to manage its product catalog in Merchant Center and monitor its website through Search Console. The Google Ads integration is being prepared for keyword research and authorized advertising reports; access depends on Google approval and the permissions granted. Customers do not need to connect a Google account to browse or buy from our store.

Depending on the enabled connection, Google data may include authorized account and website identifiers, product listings and settings, sitemap and index-inspection results, search queries and aggregated search-performance metrics, keyword volume and bid estimates, and authorized advertising reports. We use this data only to provide the relevant catalog, search-monitoring, keyword-research, or advertising-management feature requested by the account owner.

Authorization credentials and resulting reports are stored in access-restricted business systems. Google account reports are not published as customer-facing website pages. Access is limited to authorized operators and service providers, including automated tools acting on their instructions, as needed for these functions. We do not sell Google user data, use it for unrelated advertising or credit decisions, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Valence Connected follows the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements when using or transferring Google API data.

Removing Google access and requesting deletion

An account owner can revoke a user-authorized connection through the Google Account third-party connections page. Where access was granted directly to a service account, remove that account’s permissions in the relevant Google product. Revocation prevents further authorized access; it does not automatically erase previously stored reports.

To request deletion of stored Google account data or reports, contact [email protected] and identify the connected account or property without sending passwords or access tokens. We verify authority over the account before carrying out access or deletion requests. Information required for security, legal obligations, or a transaction may need to be retained.

Cookies and browser choices

Essential cookies and browser storage support sign-in, shopping carts, guest conversations, and your preferences. Optional first-party activity measurement uses a visitor cookie. You can turn that measurement off using the control below, and we respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for that measurement. Essential functions may still use storage. You can also manage cookies through your browser; disabling essential storage may stop sign-in or cart features from working.

Retention and security

First-party visitor activity records are routinely pruned after 90 days. We retain account, transaction, service, correspondence, and business integration records for the purposes described here, including ongoing support, accounting, security, and legal obligations. Retention varies by record type; disconnecting a Google account does not itself delete past reports.

We use safeguards such as encrypted connections, access controls, password hashing, and restricted customer-document access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your login and treat direct invoice, payment, or document links as private.

Requests, questions, and updates

You can contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you. We may need to confirm your identity and retain information required for transactions, legal obligations, or security. Available rights depend on applicable law.

Our store and services are not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. This policy may be updated as our services change; the effective date above identifies this version.
